Paws and Play Training LLC – Dog Boarding Agreement
Effective as of June 2025This Agreement (“Agreement”) becomes effective upon the signature of “Client” between Paws and Play Training LLC, represented by Bethanie Loffredo or any designated representative or team member (hereinafter referred to as “Caretaker”), and the signee, “Client,” collectively referred to as the “Parties.” This Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely unless terminated in writing by either Party and shall apply to any and all future boarding services provided by Paws and Play Training LLC or any representative or team member.
“Dog” refers to the canine owned by the Client and receiving care under this Agreement.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Dog may be housed and cared for by any trained and approved Paws and Play team member during the boarding period, and that all terms of this Agreement remain in full effect regardless of which team member is responsible for the Dog during their stay.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
Paws and Play Training LLC agrees to provide overnight boarding and basic care for the Client’s Dog. This includes feeding, exercise, bathroom breaks, social interaction, and supervision. The Dog may be housed in the Caretaker’s home or another approved Paws and Play staff member’s home.
The Dog may also be transported to parks or public areas for walks and enrichment, at the discretion of the Caretaker.
2. OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Owner agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the Dog’s medical history, behavior, and temperament.
Ensure the Dog is current on vaccinations and provide proof upon request.
Notify the Caretaker of any health conditions, dietary restrictions, or medications.
Provide sufficient food and medication for the entire boarding period.
Pay the full balance at drop-off via cash, check, or card.
Acknowledge and allow the use of training tools (crate, prong collar, e-collar) as needed for the safety and structure of the Dog's stay.
3. FEES AND PAYMENT
The Owner agrees to pay the total boarding fee at drop-off.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, check, or card.
A 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments.
A 10% discount will be applied for a second dog from the same household boarded at the same time.
4. INSURANCE, LIABILITY & HOLD HARMLESS
Paws and Play Training LLC maintains insurance coverage during the boarding period.
While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the Dog’s safety and comfort, the Owner understands that boarding may cause stress and that minor injuries, behavioral changes, or illnesses may occur.The Owner agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Paws and Play Training LLC, its owner(s), agents, and staff from any and all claims, damages, or causes of action arising from or in connection with the Dog’s boarding stay, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
The Owner is liable for any damage caused by the Dog to property, other dogs, or people, and for any medical or behavioral incidents caused by the Dog during the boarding stay.
5. OWNER CONTACT & EMERGENCIES
The Caretaker agrees to promptly contact the Owner using the provided information if there are any concerns about the Dog’s health or behavior. If the Owner cannot be reached, the Caretaker is authorized to act in the Dog’s best interest.
In case of a medical emergency, the Dog will be transported to a licensed veterinarian or emergency clinic. The Owner agrees to be financially responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred. If unreachable, the Caretaker is authorized to make urgent medical decisions to protect the Dog’s health and well-being.
6. TRANSPORTATION
The Owner authorizes the Caretaker to transport the Dog to parks, walking trails, or other public spaces as needed for enrichment, exercise, or safety.
7. TERMINATION & ABANDONMENT POLICY
If the Dog is boarded for more than 30 consecutive days without communication or response from the Owner—despite reasonable attempts to contact—the Owner agrees to forfeit all ownership rights. Paws and Play Training LLC may rehome or transfer ownership of the Dog as they see fit. This clause is enforceable only if the Owner has failed to respond to at least two written notices via text or email.
8. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any legal action must be filed within New Jersey courts, and both parties consent to jurisdiction therein.
9. LATE POLICY
Drop-Off and Pick-Up:
If the Owner provides less than 24 hours' notice of a schedule change and is more than 30 minutes late, a $20 fee will be charged. An additional $20 per hour applies for extended delays. If the Owner is more than 2 hours late, the Caretaker reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the service.10. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

11. CARD INFORMATION SECURITY
Card information may be securely stored for emergencies or final balances. All card data is encrypted and confidential, and used only per this Agreement.
12. MEDIA RELEASE
The Owner grants permission for Paws and Play Training LLC to photograph or video the Dog during their stay. Media may be used for marketing or educational purposes online or in print.
To opt out of media use, the Owner must notify the Caretaker in writing prior to the boarding start date.
13. BEHAVIOR & TOOL DISCLOSURE
The Owner understands that crates, prong collars, and e-collars may be used for safety, structure, or management during the Dog’s stay. These tools are not used as punishment but as support for calm, safe behavior during boarding.
The Owner agrees that Paws and Play Training LLC will use best practices when utilizing any training or management tools, and that they are applied under professional supervision only.
14. NO GUARANTEED REFUNDS
There are no guaranteed refunds for boarding services. Any refund is at the sole discretion of Paws and Play Training LLC.

“Dog” refers to the canine owned by the Client and enrolled in training under this Agreement.
The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Dog may be housed and cared for by any trained and approved Paws and Play team member during the board and train program, and that all terms of this Agreement remain in full effect regardless of which team member is responsible for the Dog during the training period.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
The Trainer, representing Paws and Play Training LLC, agrees to provide dog training services to the Client’s Dog. The boarding and training period will be honored according to the specific dates and times chosen by the Client during scheduling. Training will occur at the Trainer’s home, the Client’s home, or in other public locations, such as nearby parks or stores, for training purposes.
2. BOARD AND TRAIN PROGRAM
The Dog will reside with the Trainer or an approved Paws and Play team member during the training period. The Trainer will provide training in basic obedience, behavioral modification, and other agreed-upon commands. Additionally, the Dog may be transported to nearby parks or stores for training sessions.
3. OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Owner agrees to:
Provide accurate information about the Dog’s medical history, behavior, and known issues.
Ensure the Dog is up-to-date on vaccinations and provide proof upon request.
Notify the Trainer of any known health complications or concerns.
Supply sufficient food and any necessary medications for the training period.
Pay the agreed-upon balance at drop-off.
Acknowledge and permit the use of training tools (e-collar, prong collar, crate, etc.) during the Dog’s stay.
4. FEES AND PAYMENT
The Owner agrees to pay Paws and Play Training LLC the total agreed-upon fee at drop-off via cash, check, or card.
A 3.5% processing fee applies to card payments.
A 10% discount will be applied to the second dog if multiple dogs from the same household are enrolled simultaneously.
5. INSURANCE, LIABILITY & HOLD HARMLESS
Paws and Play Training LLC maintains insurance coverage for the training period.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure the Dog’s well-being, Paws and Play Training LLC and its representatives are not responsible for any illness, injury, or condition that arises during or after the Dog’s stay, including those caused by pre-existing health issues, age, or stress-related conditions.The Owner agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Paws and Play Training LLC, its owner(s), agents, and staff from any and all claims, damages, or causes of action arising from or in connection with the Dog’s participation in training or boarding, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the Trainer.
The Owner is responsible for any injury caused by the Dog to the Trainer, Paws and Play staff, or third parties, as well as any property damage caused by the Dog during training or boarding, including but not limited to crates, leashes, furniture, or vehicles.
6. OWNER CONTACT & EMERGENCIES
The Trainer agrees to contact the Owner immediately using the provided contact information in the event of any issues or emergencies regarding the Dog’s health or well-being. If the Owner cannot be reached, the Trainer is authorized to act in the Dog’s best interest.
In the event of a medical emergency or sudden illness, the Trainer or any authorized team member has permission to transport the Dog to a licensed veterinarian or emergency clinic. The Owner agrees to be financially responsible for any veterinary care. If unreachable, the Trainer may make urgent medical decisions to ensure the Dog’s health and safety.
7. TRANSPORTATION
The Trainer is authorized to transport the Dog to parks, stores, or other public locations for training purposes during the program.
8. TERMINATION OF SERVICES & ABANDONMENT POLICY
The Trainer reserves the right to terminate training at their sole discretion.
If the Dog is boarded for more than 30 consecutive days without communication or response from the Owner—despite reasonable attempts to contact—the Owner agrees to forfeit all ownership rights. Paws and Play Training LLC may rehome or transfer ownership of the Dog as they see fit. Card information may be securely stored for convenience or emergencies. All card data is encrypted and confidential, and used only per this Agreement.
13. MEDIA RELEASE
The Owner grants permission for Paws and Play Training LLC to photograph or video the Dog for educational, marketing, or promotional use on websites, social media, or other platforms. No identifying Owner info will be used without permission.
To opt out of media use, the Owner must provide written notice prior to the training period.
14. TRAINING RESULTS DISCLAIMER
The Owner understands that training results vary by Dog and depend on age, temperament, consistency, and follow-up at home. The Trainer makes no guarantee of specific outcomes but commits to providing the highest quality training possible.
15. NO GUARANTEED REFUNDS
There is no guaranteed refund for services. Any potential refund is at the sole discretion of the Trainer.
16. OWNER FOLLOW-UP COMMITMENT
The Owner agrees to follow through with the Trainer’s recommendations post-training. Continued practice and consistency are crucial to long-term success.

Dog Training Services Agreement
This Dog Training Services Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Paws and Play Training LLC (hereinafter referred to as the "Trainer") and the undersigned client (hereinafter referred to as the "Client").
1. Services
The Trainer agrees to provide private dog training lessons to the Client at the Client's home or another agreed-upon location. During the training sessions, the Trainer may utilize tools such as a slip lead, a prong collar, or an e-collar.
Training may be conducted by the Trainer or a qualified team member working under the Trainer’s standards. The Client will be notified in advance if a substitute trainer will be present.
2. Payment
Payment must be made in full prior to the start of any training package.
Individual training sessions must be paid for before or at the time of service.
Payments made via credit card will be subject to an additional processing fee.
Travel fees may apply for locations beyond a designated radius from Toms River, NJ. These fees will be disclosed prior to scheduling.
3. Equipment and Facilities
The Client agrees to ensure the availability of a safe and appropriate training environment for all sessions. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to inclement weather at the Trainer’s discretion.
The Client agrees to minimize distractions during training sessions, including limiting the presence of children, other pets, or visitors unless they are included in the training plan.
4. Training Tools
The Client acknowledges that certain training tools may be used during sessions. These tools, when used inappropriately, may cause harm. The Trainer will use these tools properly and instruct the Client on their correct usage. However, the Trainer is not responsible for any misuse of these tools by the Client or any other party.
5. Dog Health and Vaccination
The Client certifies that their dog is in good health and up to date on all vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and Bordetella. The Client agrees to provide proof of vaccination upon request. Sessions may be postponed or canceled at the Trainer’s discretion if the dog appears unwell.
6. Aggression and Safety
The Client must inform the Trainer of any history of aggression, reactivity, or behavioral concerns prior to training. The Trainer reserves the right to end a session or terminate the training program without refund if the dog is determined to pose a safety risk.
7. Obligations of Client
The Client agrees to participate actively in all training sessions and follow the Trainer’s instructions. The Client acknowledges that consistency and commitment are essential to achieving desired results and agrees to continue practicing between sessions.
8. Results
The Client acknowledges that while the Trainer will make every effort to facilitate behavioral improvements, results cannot be guaranteed. Success depends on various factors, including the dog’s temperament and the Client’s consistency.
9. Cancellation or Rescheduling
48+ Hours Notice: No charge
24–48 Hours Notice: 50% of the session cost
Less than 24 Hours Notice: Full session fee applies
No-Show: Full session fee applies
Emergency Cancellations: Fees may be waived at the Trainer’s discretion
How to Cancel or Reschedule: Contact must be made via call, text, or email. Social media messages may not be honored.
10. Refunds
Refunds are not guaranteed and will be issued at the Trainer’s discretion depending on circumstances such as cancellations, rescheduling, or dissatisfaction with services.
11. Photo and Video Release
The Client grants permission for the Trainer to take and use photos or videos of their dog during sessions for educational and promotional purposes, including use on social media or marketing materials. To opt out, the Client must notify the Trainer in writing.
12. Liability
The Client understands that dog training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injury to the dog, the Client, or third parties. By signing this Agreement, the Client agrees to release and hold the Trainer harmless from any and all liability related to:
Injury, damage, or loss resulting from training sessions
Actions taken by the dog during or after the training period
Use or misuse of training tools
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with written notice to the other party.
14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
15. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Trainer and Client. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
16. Duration
This Agreement shall remain in effect for all future training sessions between the Client and the Trainer unless modified or terminated in writing.

Paws and Play Training LLC – Dog Walking, Daycare & Drop-in Visits Agreement

This Agreement shall remain in effect indefinitely unless terminated in writing by either Party and shall apply to any and all future walking, daycare, or drop-in services provided by Paws and Play Training LLC or any representative or team member.
“Dog” refers to the canine owned by the Client and receiving care under this Agreement. The Client acknowledges and agrees that the Dog may be cared for by any trained and approved Paws and Play team member, and that all terms of this Agreement remain in full effect regardless of which team member is responsible during services.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
Paws and Play Training LLC agrees to provide dog walking, in-home daycare, and/or drop-in visits as scheduled by the Client. Services may include:
Feeding, fresh water, and administering medications (if requested).
Exercise through structured walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks.
Basic enrichment, companionship, and supervision.
2. OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Owner agrees to:
Provide accurate and complete information regarding the Dog’s medical history, behavior, and temperament.
Ensure the Dog is current on vaccinations and provide proof upon request.
Notify the Caretaker of any health conditions, dietary restrictions, or medications.
Provide any necessary items for visits (food, leashes, harnesses, medications).
Maintain safe access to the property (working locks, clear entryways).
Pay the full balance prior to or at the time of services.
3. FEES & PAYMENT
Payment is due at or before the time of service.
Accepted forms: cash, check, or card (3.5% processing fee for card).
DAYCARE: A 10% discount will be applied for a second dog from the same household if services are provided simultaneously.
WALKING: Additional dogs $10 / visit.

This Agreement may be terminated in writing by either Party at any time.
If the Owner repeatedly fails to communicate, fails to pay, or abandons scheduled services, Paws and Play Training LLC reserves the right to terminate this Agreement immediately.8. GOVERNING LAW
